1 - Don't skip meals, try to eat as regularly as possible to keep your metabolism working
2 - Use smaller plates, remember your eyes are usually bigger than your belly!
3 - Count calories, if you eat more than you burn off it simply gets stored as fat
4 - Don't blame your metabolism, again watch your calorie intake
5 - Protein makes you feel fuller for longer, a chemical that exists at a high level in
protein foods signals to your brain that you are full
6 - Soup actually stays in your stomach for longer, keeping you fuller for longer
7 - The wider the choice, the more you eat (buffet style), reduce the choice and your temptation to try everything will be avoided
8 - Low fat dairy helps you excrete more fat, e.g skimmed milk, the calcium forms a soapy substance with the fat in your stomach which cannot be absorbed
9 - Exercise causes you to burn more fat up to 20 hours after excercise (after burn) so
regular exercise can put your body in perpetual fat burning mode, even while you sleep!
10 - Keep moving to lose weight, try not to spend too many hours a day immobile,
for example, walk up stairs instead of using lifts
